Finally, something different.

Tired of traditional networking? Me too.

Join us and shape a creative community for genuine connection, collaboration and learning.

Experience Melbourne’s first and only coworking day – curated for and with communications, marketing and creative professionals who crave genuine connection, community and belonging.

Intentionally neurodivergent and introvert-friendly. Melbourne’s never had anything quite like this.

  • Work alongside values-aligned professionals in a premium coworking space
  • Share ideas, brainstorm and problem-solve in a no-pressure environment
  • Learn from peers through organic conversations and mini skill-shares
  • Build authentic relationships (not just LinkedIn connections)
  • Access a quiet focus zone when you need to recharge
  • Leave with creative ideas, potential collaborators, and a community that has your back

I never liked traditional networking. Or small talk. After-work industry events in loud spaces would often leave me feeling drained. Many times, I would be the only person in the room with a migrant background and an accent, observing how quickly my value was assessed based on my job title, words someone else allocated to me in systems I didn’t help create.

And I always craved more, and missed the buzz of talking to genuine, creative and giving people. To simply exchange ideas, share the good and the bad, in a no-pressure environment. To take the time to listen. To belong. To exhale. To drop my shoulders because I finally feel safe.

While working from home most of 2025, I started to feel restless and isolated. Something had to change. Getting stuck in my own head didn’t feel great. Going to coworking spaces for a change of scenery helped, but the community and connection part was still missing. I couldn’t find the event I craved, so I created one. That’s how it all started – and now growing, thanks to you.

Co-creating a creative community, together

Who this is for: Communications, marketing and creative professionals of all levels and backgrounds who are tired of transactional networking and crave a community where they can belong, as they are.

After years of running events, as part of my comms roles, and as a volunteer and board member for industry membership organisations, I’ve seen how rare the true sense of belonging can be.

How we do things differently:

  • You shape the experience – Members co-create how the day runs
  • Everyone has visibility – Opportunity to facilitate, teach and share
  • No job title hierarchy – You’re valued for who you are, not your current title
  • Diversity and looking after each other is at the core of who we are. Quiet spaces are available when you need a sensory rest. Accents and international experiences welcome!
  • We know cost can be a barrier to access, because we lived it. Cost shouldn’t keep you from community. Please email me if that is your situation and I’ll find a way to help. I’ve been in your shoes, especially during my first years in Australia.

The coworking day literally changed my life. After leaving a long-standing job, I knew I was looking for new opportunities – what I didn’t realise was that I was also looking for a community. I got all of that and more.

Perfect for those who don’t like traditional networking

The comms and marketing co-working days are a great way to network even for those that don’t like, or are uncomfortable, networking.
